Why this? Why now?

Funny you should ask. A great many bicycle rides, some more organized than others, start in the parking lot of the Lehigh Valley Velodrome, west of Allentown, PA. If you didn't know of the rides, you might never realize they exist, except if you see the peleton passing along some of the roads of western Lehigh and eastern Berks county.

This site is an informal chronicle of those rides.
